Selim RF Hussain to lead BRAC Bank till 2026

BRAC Bank has reappointed Selim RF Hussain as its managing director and chief executive officer for the next five years. As a result, he will lead the private financial institution until 2026.

The reappointment, made by the bank’s chairman and board of directors, has already been approved by the central bank, said a press release on Sunday.

The reappointment came into effect in November.

Hussain began his journey at the bank from November 2015 and has since served two three-year terms with the financial institution, read the release.

During his six-year tenure, Hussain led the BRAC Bank from mid-table to the pinnacle of the local banking industry and firmly established the bank as a leading financial institution in the country, it added.
