The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Bangladesh (ICAB) organised a ‘Virtual Student Summit 2021’ on Saturday.
A number of students from different public and private universities joined and exchanged their views about CA education in Bangladesh in the summit.
Professor Anwarul Azim Arif, Vice-Chancellor, International Islamic University Chittagong, Professor Mahfuzul Hoque Chowdhury, Vice-Chancellor, Chittagong Independent University, Professor Abhinaya Saha, Vice-Chancellor, The Millennium University and Professor Mashiur Rahman, Vice-Chancellor, National University Bangladesh joined the programme as special guests.
ICAB Chief Executive Officer Shubhashish Bose gave opening remarks while its President Mahmudul Hasan Khusru delivered address of welcome, said a media statement.
Students also took part in a quiz contest virtually at the end of the session. ICAB student counselling department organised the programme as part of their initiatives for building awareness among the graduates about CA education and the profession as whole.
