Jamuna Bank opens new branch in Gajaria

Jamuna Bank has inaugurated its 153rd branch in Gajaria of Munshiganj with modern technology and online facilities.

Former lawmaker and Chairman of Jamuna Bank Executive Committee and Jamuna Bank Foundation, Al-Haj Nur Mohammed was present as the chief guest in the inaugural ceremony.

Jamuna Bank director Sirajul Islam Varosha, Ismail Hossain Siraji, and Gajaria upazila parishad Chairman Amirul Islam were present as special guests, the bank said in a statement.

The inaugural ceremony was presided over by Mirza Elias Uddin Ahmed, Managing Director and CEO of Jamuna Bank Limited.

Senior officials of the bank's head office, officials and employees of the adjacent branches of Jamuna Bank, local dignitaries and a large number of people were also present.

In his remarks, Nur Mohammed said that within next one month, Jamuna Bank will be able to achieve customer satisfaction in the region with maximum customer facility and anyone can transact on Islamic Sharia basis as every branch of the bank has Islamic wing.
