Abu Reza joins SIBL as AMD

Abu Reza Md Yeahia has recently joined Social Islami Bank Limited (SIBL) as additional managing director.

Prior to joining SIBL, Reza served Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited (IBBL) as deputy managing director, said a media statement.

Abu Reza started his career at Islami Bank as a probationary officer in 1989.

In his long 32 years career, Reza served IBBL as company secretary, CAMLCO, and head of Internal Control & Compliance Wing, Investment Portfolio & Retail Investment Wing, Legal Division, and other important positions as well.

He obtained LLB and LLM degree from the University of Dhaka. He is a life member of Dhaka University Alumni Association and Bangladesh Ain Samity.

Abu Reza travelled different countries including India, China, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Saudi Arabia, Russia, Sri Lanka, the Maldives, Brunei, and Myanmar to attend seminars and conferences, it added.
