Anwara-Shawkat Trust & Bharasa Institute launched

The launching ceremony of two socially responsible organisations -- Anwara- Shawkat Trust and Bharasa Institute -- was held at Radisson Blu Dhaka Water Garden on Wednesday.

Entrepreneur Monira Emdad, founder and owner of Tangail Saree Kutir graced the occasion as the chief guest, said a media release. In her speech, Monira shared her journey as a successful women entrepreneur – how she faced the challenges in balancing career and life and overcome them.

The Chairperson of Anwara-Shawket Trust Anjuman Aziz Khan shared her dream and vision of socio-economic development of women and youth through caregiving service and capacity building resulting empowerment of women through creating opportunities for pursuing career either job or self-employment through entrepreneurial initiative.

Bharasa Institute is an initiative of Anwara-Shawket Trust focused on developing the professional capacity of people hailing from the lower stratum of the society.
