Mahbub ul Alam, newly elected chairman of the board of directors of Social Islami Bank Limited (SIBL), along with newly appointed Managing Director & CEO Zafar Alam, and Additional Managing Director Abu Reza Md. Yeahia, paid tribute to the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman at Tungipara in Gopalganj on Tuesday.
Md. Moniruzzaman, SVP & Head of Marketing & Brand Communication, and other senior officials of the bank were also present on the occasion, said a media release.
After laying the wreath at the mausoleum of Bangabandhu, they offered Sura Fateha and special munajat seeking eternal peace of the departed soul of Bangabandhu and his family members brutally killed on the fateful night on August 15 in 1975.
