RFL cleans Cox’s Bazar beach

TEL Plastics, a household products brand of RFL Group, organised a ‘Beach Cleaning’ programme aiming to maintain environmental balance and creating awareness among the tourists.

RFL Group Managing Director RN Paul inaugurated the event on Tuesday morning at Cox’s Bazar beach, the world’s longest beach, the company said in a statement.

More than five hundred officials of RFL Group participated in the programme and they cleaned rubbish lying on the beach from Sugandha to Kolatoli point of the beach. TEL Plastics arranged the event in association with Dhaka Round Table and Cox’s Bazar Tourist Police.

Addressing the occasion, RN Paul said, “As country’s leading business conglomerate, RFL has social responsibility. We carry out various programmes throughout the year as part of our social responsibilities. As part of this, we have organised ‘Beach Cleaning’ programme at Cox’s Bazar sea beach.

The objective of this programme is to create awareness so that no one throws garbage on the beach. We want to carry out such programmes in different river ports of the country and Patenga sea beach in Chattogram and Kuakata sea beach in Patuakhali.”

Kamrul Hasan, Executive Director of TEL Plastics and Fahim Hossain, Head of Marketing, among others, were present on the occasion.
