A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between Abdul Monem Limited and Padma Bank at the bank’s head office in Dhaka on Tuesday for business expansion.
Under the agreement, two companies offer a variety of business services including foreign exchange, funded and non-funded, and loan services, Padma Bank said in a statement.
Padma Bank acting CEO & Managing Director Faisal Ahsan Chowdhury and Abdul Monem Limited Managing Director ASM Mainuddin Monem signed the agreement. Senior officials of the two organisations were present on the occasion, added the statement.
The fourth-generation Padma Bank Limited, which is owned by the state-owned Sonali, Janata, Agrani, Rupali Bank, and ICB, has been providing modern banking services to its customers through 58 branches across the country.
