Bangladesh Finance has received the first runner-up award in the financial services sector of the South Asian Federation of Accountants-SAFA Best Reporting Award-2020.
The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka hosted the virtual award ceremony on Wednesday. This ceremony was also held on the digital platform at the ICAB auditorium in the capital to give recognition to the best on behalf of SAFA.
ICAB President Md Shahadat Hossain presented the award. He was accompanied by SAFA's Adviser AKM Delowar Hossain and ICAB Council Member Md Humayun Kabir, Bangladesh Finance said in a statement.
Bangladesh Finance Audit Committee Chairman and Independent Director Roknuzzaman and Managing Director and CEO Md Kyser Hamid received the award.
Bangladesh Finance Limited has strengthened its position in the international arena by publishing the best financial reports.
Bangladesh Finance Group CFO Md Sajjadur Rahman Bhuiyan and Head of Finance Amitabh Debnath were also present at the function.
