Citi Bangladesh holds workshop on 4IR

Citi Bangladesh, in collaboration with Bangladesh Bank, recently held a workshop on “4th Industrial Revolution: Unlocking Potential and Facing Challenges” at a city convention center.

Muhammed Ishaque Mia, General Manager, Information Systems Development and Support Department (ISDSD) of Bangladesh Bank was present at the workshop as the chief guest. ISDSD Joint Director S M Tofayel Ahmad and Ministry of Public Administration Deputy Secretary Golam Mohammed Bhuiyan were present as the keynote speakers.

The chief guest and keynote speakers spoke on the impact, potentials and challenges of this modern phase of the industrialization. They enlightened the participants with the history of Industrial Revolutions. They shared their views, suggestions and valuable information in regard to

the fast-paced world of technological change adopting the 4th Industrial Revolution and its impact for Bangladesh. On a related note, steps taken by the Government towards becoming a Digital Bangladesh were also discussed, Citi Bangladesh said in a statement.
