Canadian University of Bangladesh hosts Kickoff Programming Contest 2022

The Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) and CUB Computer Society (CUBCS) of Canadian University of Bangladesh successfully organized a mega event Kickoff Programming Contest of Spring 2022 on Saturday.

Vice Chancellor of Canadian University of Bangladesh Professor HM Jahirul Haque, inaugurated the programming Contest in the auditorium while Professor M Kaykobad was present in the contest as the Chief Guest and delivered his inspiring speech to the contestants, said the varsity in a statement.

Professor Syed Akhter Hossain, the Contest Director, the Dean of School of Science and Engineering and Head of CSE gave his encouraging speech to the participants. The inauguration session ended with instructions from the chief judge and problem setter, Tonima Hossain who is a candidate master in CodeForces and one of the top contest programmers in Bangladesh at current time.

The contest started at 12:30pm and a total of 44 students participated in the contest. The contest was held in multiple computer labs. All volunteers, contestants and core committee members received T-shirt and the whole program took place in a very homely and pleasing environment.
