India’s MGM Healthcare has inaugurated its first connect centre in Dhaka to offer world-class healthcare services to patients in Bangladesh at an affordable cost.
Patients from Bangladesh will benefit from the latest advancements in healthcare offered by MGM Healthcare located in Chennai and get last-mile healthcare delivery.
The company entered into agreements with 40 corporate houses.
MGM Healthcare Director Dr Prashanth Rajagopalan officially inaugurated the state-of-the-art centre at a program in Dhaka on Monday.
He said that most of the people in Bangladesh cannot know how to take healthcare from India’s Chennai. But now the people can easily access them through the connect centre.
“We will be able to give medical advice to patients in Dhaka sitting from India. Besides, after receiving treatment at their hospital, follow-up patients will be able to solve problems from Dhaka without going to India,” he said.
About the MGM Healthcare, Dr Prashanth said that this hospital has 400 beds, 50 outpatient consultation rooms, over 100 critical care beds, more than 250 doctors, over 30 clinical departments, 12 modern operation theatres and 24x7 comprehensive Emergency Care.
A host of eminent surgeons and physicians wield a potent combination of skill and cutting-edge technology to elevate care and outcomes to new levels. MGM Healthcare is currently Asia’s highest-rated USGBC LEED Platinum-certified Green Hospital, said Dr Prashanth.
