12th Chartered Secretaries Act enactment celebrated

Institute of Chartered Secretaries of Bangladesh (ICSB) recently celebrated the 12th anniversary of the Enactment of Chartered Secretaries Act, 2010 at the virtual platform.

While conducting the discussion, ICSB Council Member Md Zahangir Alam recalled the contributions of the then President Mohammad Asadullah and the members of his team, who worked relentlessly to get the Enactment of the Chartered Secretaries Act, 2010, said the ICSB in a statement.

He expressed deep gratitude to the Founding Members, the Council Members of 2009-2010 and others who worked sincerely to pass the Act.

ICSB treasurer Salim Ahmed, and council members M Naseemul Hye, Md Sharif Hasan, Md Shafiqul Alam, NG Chakraborty, and former council members AKM Mushfiqur Rahman, S Abdur Rashid, and many others attended
the event.

The anniversary programme was marked with reminiscence and tributes of the fellow and associate members. 

Speaking at the event, the past ICSB president shared his feelings on the great occasion. He thanked the present government, under whose assistance the Chartered Secretaries Act, 2010 was passed in the parliament.
