PKSF to donate Tk 2cr for flood-affected people

The Palli-Karma Sahayak Foundation (PKSF) has decided to donate Tk 1.98 crore to the flood-hit people in Sylhet and Sunamganj.

Initially, PFSF’s partner organisations will distribute essential food items, water purification tablets and orsaline to the worst-hit people in the districts.

The fund will be disbursed through PKSF’s 11 business affiliates, partner organisations and 99 branch offices.

Additionally, these organisations will also use their own fund to provide humanitarian aid to flood victims.

PKSF will further extend its services and aid if the situation worsens. “We are fully prepared to handle the catastrophe. We are closely monitoring the situation and will take necessary measures accordingly,” said a spokesperson for the organisation.
