PRAN-RFL Group, the country’s leading business conglomerate, has launched a nursing college in Natore named Amjad Khan Chowdhury Nursing College.

Uzma Chowdhury, Chairman of the nursing college and Director (Corporate Finance) at PRAN-RFL Group, inaugurated the college through a programme on Monday, states a press release.

Earlier, the conglomerate launched a 50 bedded hospital in Natore. The group inaugurated the nursing college to contribute to the health sector in Rajshahi and Natore regions.

To develop skilled human resources in the nursing sector, there are many facilities, including an experienced teacher with a PhD degree, a training facility, a modern lab, a large campus, and accommodation at low cost for the students.

Addressing the program, Uzma Chowdhury said, “Nursing is a very noble profession across the globe, and it has huge demand in the country. The profession can play an important role if students can get standard education through nursing college. We have launched the nursing college to contribute to the health sector.”

She added, “the group aims to create employment in the country through the business initiative. We have already employed more than 1,40,000 people directly in our workplace.”
