Chardike, one of the leading beauty e-commerce platforms, has unveiled its new brand logo at a ceremony held at its head office in Dhaka on Thursday.
Chardike aims to tap into Bangladesh’s booming beauty, health, personal, and household care market, which is estimated for higher growth, and the market size is expected to hit $2.12 billion by 2027, according to a statement.
Chardike founder and CEO Sarwar Kamal said, “We have successfully served thousands of customers every month online over the past 3 years. We provided skincare solutions through Korean products and now we are expanding our business due to huge demand from our customers. We are working to bring some global brands to Bangladesh.”
Former President of Dhaka Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Managing Director of Shasha Denim Shams Mahmud spoke at the ceremony as the chief guest. He hoped that there will be an opportunity to export cosmetic products like garments in the near future.
E-Commerce Association of Bangladesh (e-CAB) Director Asif Ahnaf, The Korean Mall CEO Ishtiaq Ahmed, Elegance founder Moinuddin M Sumon, Social Islami Bank AVP Moinuddin Ahmed, and BB Queen CEO Nusrat Liza, were present as special guests.
