Saifuddin Chowdhury reappointed BGIC CEO

Bangladesh General Insurance Company Ltd (BGIC) has reappointed Ahmed Saifuddin Chowdhury as its Chief Executive Officer (CEO).

The service of Ahmed Saifuddin Chowdhury as the managing director and CEO of BGIC has been renewed for a further period of 3 (three) years (2022-25) for the 4th consecutive term, said a statement.

Ahmed Saifuddin Chowdhury joined BGIC head office at Dhaka in 1986 and was later posted to the Chattogram office as overall In-charge.

After getting a promotion he was accorded the post of additional managing director (operation) including the responsibilities of company secretary as well.

He ultimately honoured the post of managing director and CEO of BGIC on August 1, 2013.
