Banglalink wins Ookla Speedtest Award for 3 years in a row

Banglalink has secured Ookla’s recognition as the Fastest Mobile Network in Bangladesh for three consecutive years with a speed score of 21.56.

Banglalink clinched the top spot according to Ookla’s Speedtest report for 1H22. Its median download speed was 16.09 Mbps, while the median upload speed was 8.42 Mbps. Based on millions of results obtained through the Ookla Speedtest app each day, it gives the most accurate and comprehensive view of worldwide network performance, quality, and accessibility, Banglalink said in a statement. 

Banglalink has rolled out more than 3000 sites across the country in the last eight months and has recently acquired 40 MHz spectrum, which increased its spectrum holding by 100 per cent. It has contributed to registering double-digit growth in Q2 2022, providing the fastest 4G internet and high-quality digital services.
