Prof Mesbahuddin re-appointed as BAC chairman

The government re-appointed Prof Mesbah Uddin Ahmed as chairman of Bangladesh Accreditation Council (BAC) for next four years.

Public administration ministry on Wednesday issued a gazette notification signed by its deputy secretary Md Rafikul Islam in this regard.

In August 2018, the government appointed Prof Mesbahuddin as first chairman of the BAC and his four years tenure ended in last month.

Prof Mesbah Uddin Ahmed was the Vice-Chancellor of the Jagannath University, Dhaka (2009-2013). He retired as Professor from the University of Dhaka in July 2013.
