UITS Law dept hosts fresher’s reception, farewell events

The Law Department of the University of Information Technology and Sciences has organised a freshers’ reception of the autumn semester 2022 and farewell ceremony to the final year students on Thursday at its premises in Dhaka.

Also, the department hosted receptions to the former students of the university who have newly been enrolled as Supreme Court lawyers.

Liberation War Minister AKM Mozammel Haque was the chief guest at the event.

Minister AKM Mozammel Haque said, “Lawyers play vital role in establishing justice. The Law Department of the university has been producing efficient law professionals.”

Ekushey Padak winner Alhaj Sufi Mohammad Mizanur Rahman, founder and chairman of UITS and PHP Family, gave the welcome speech while Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Md Abu Hashan Bhuiyan presided over the event.
