Evercare Hospital celebrates World Heart Day 2022

Evercare Hospital Dhaka, the country’s first JCI-accredited hospital, has organised a patient forum to celebrate World Heart Day 2022.

In a press conference on Thursday, the speakers discussed this year’s theme “Use Heart for Every Heart” and exchanged opinions and experiences, the hospital said in a statement.

About 18.7 million (1 crore 87 lakh) people die worldwide every year due to cardiovascular disease. The hospital authorities organised this event to increase awareness about heart health and cardiovascular diseases.

Professor Dr Md Shahabuddin Talukder, Senior Consultant of Clinical and Interventional Cardiology Department said, “After disease is detected in our body, there are many opportunities for treatment, but there is a risk that the lifestyle will not be as normal as before. Especially in the case of heart disease.”

“My appeal to all, you get used to a healthy lifestyle and try to avoid the risky aspects of heart health,” he added.
