Fire at city’s HATIL furniture showroom

A fire broke out at 3-storey HATIL Furniture Showroom at Tejgaon-Gulshan Link Road in the city at 12:30am on October 13.

Fire spread-out at the west part of three floors. Fire-fighting unit from Tejgaon Fire Service rushed to the spot and doused the fire with the help of security officer of HATIL.

The fire is caused by an electric short circuit for extra voltage after load shedding, said by the fire service official. Generator, Furniture, Electric System, Interior, AC and other appliance brutally damaged by

this fire accident. There is huge sudden loss in business, worth about 1.5 crore taka.

HATIL Tejgaon Manager Sanowar Hossain rushed to the spot after being informed by the security officer.

A general diary filed at Tejgaon Police Station in connection with this fire accident.
