Yousuf Harun elected Ayurvedic Medicine Manufacturers Association’s president

Hamdard Laboratories (Waqf) Bangladesh managing director and chief motawalli Md Yousuf Harun Bhuiyan has been elected president and Greenlife Natural Healthcare (Ayurvedic) proprietor Md Mizanur Rahman general secretary in the Bangladesh Ayurvedic Medicine Manufacturers Association election for 2022-2024 session.

The ‘Combined Ayurved Parishad’, contested under their leadership, won the full panel in the election.

The number of voters in this organisation of Ayurved medicine industries owners was 112. As president candidate Yousuf Harun won by getting 69 votes. His nearest rival Salim Mohammad Shahjahan got 37 votes.

As general secretary, Md Mizanur Rahman got 64 votes and his rival candidate Md Ekramul Haque Khan got 41 votes.

The polling was held from 10:00am to 4:00pm at the National Press Club.

After the announcement of the official results, an impromptu reception was held in the auditorium of the head office of Hamdard at Banglamotor in the capital.
