Kolpolok Limited has been awarded as Champion for its SYMLEX VPN product in the “Business Security Category” at BASIS National ICT Awards-2022 in recognition of providing innovative services to the IT sector of Bangladesh.
Ibn Md Abu Saleh Khosru (CTO) and Tabassum Binte Rashid (CW) received the award on behalf of Kolpolok Limited, said a press release.
The award was given to the organisation at the fifth edition of BASIS Awards held at Radisson Blu Dhaka Water Garden five-star hotel in the capital on October 31. Apart from winning BASIS National ICT Award-2022 this year, Kolpolok Limited has also been selected for APICTA Awards international competition. The APICTA Awards are known as the Asia-Pacific region’s Oscars of the IT sector.
State Minister of the ICT Department Junaid Ahmed Palak gave a video message as the chief guest.
Basis President Russell T Ahmed, ICT Department Senior Secretary NM Ziaul Alam PAA, and Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FBCCI) President Md Jasim Uddin were also present.
To recognise innovative, visionary product and service projects that have impacted the country’s IT sector, 68 awards were presented in 36 categories at this year’s event. The best-awarded projects will participate in the international competition for the APICTA Awards, known as the Oscars of the Asia-Pacific IT sector.
Bangladesh Association of Software and Information Services (BASIS), the national trade body for Bangladesh’s software and IT-enabled services industry, organizes the ICT Awards annually to recognize and inspire promising IT products and services in the country.
