Air Astra, ATAB sign deal to host travel, tourism expo

The Association of Travel Agents of Bangladesh (ATAB), with the sponsorship of Air Astra, will host the Bangladesh International Travel and Tourism Expo on December 1.

In this regard, an agreement was signed between ATAB and Air Astra at a city hotel in the capital on Saturday, said a press release.

Air Astra Chief Executive Officer Imran Asif and ATAB Secretary General Abdus Salam signed the sponsorship agreement on behalf of their respective entities.

Air Astra Chief Executive Officer Imran Asif said, ‘’We are proud to be the title sponsor of Bangladesh International Travel and Tourism Expo 2022. We received AOC for commercial flight operations on November 3 after receiving NOC in 2021. Our domestic route flight operations will commence with 4 aircraft this month and our aircraft fleet will increase to 10 by next year. Air Astra will prepare to operate international flights by the end of 2023.”
