The Training Department of the Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Bangladesh (ICMAB) has organised ‘IAS-IFRS Quiz Contest-2022’ for its students and qualified CMAs.
The programme was held at ICMAB Ruhul Quddus Auditorium, Nilkhet, Dhaka on the occasion of ‘International Accounting Day-2022’, said a press release.
Dhaka University Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr Md Akhtaruzzaman handed over the awards to the winners as Chief Guest. The winners of the IAS-IFRS Quiz Contest were awarded with cash prize, crest, medal and certificate of participation.
Md Muinuddin Khan, Professor, BGMEA University of Fashion and Technology (BUFT) was present as special guest while ICMAB President Md Mamunur Rashid presided over the session.
ICMAB arranged this contest in an effort to spread the education of IFRS and IAS for establishing globally harmonised accounting system to ensure greater transparency of accounting information and better communication.
