ICAB president meets IFAC president in India

The Institute of Cost and Management Accountants (ICAB) president Md Shahadat Hossain met the president of the International Federation of Accountants (IFAC) Alan Johnson during the council meeting of IFAC held in Jio World Convention Center at Mumbai, India on Tuesday.

ICAB Chief Operating Officer Mahbub Ahmed Siddique and President of South Asian Federation of Accountants (SAFA) HM Hennayake Bandara were present, among others, on the occasion, said a press release. The ICAB president attended the meeting as designated voting representative from ICAB Bangladesh. Later, he had meetings with IFAC deputy president Asmaa Resmouki and many international delegates from professional accountancy bodies joining IFAC Council.
