Banglalink, one of the leading digital communications services providers in Bangladesh, has recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with RFL Electronics Limited (Vision TV).
Under this agreement, Banglalink's digital entertainment app 'Toffee' will be pre-installed in new Vision Smart TVs, said a press release.
Banglalink Chief Commercial Officer Upanga Dutta and RFL Electronics Limited Executive Director Kazi Rashedul Islam signed the MoU on behalf of their respective organisations.
As the country's leading digital platform, only the Toffee app will livestream the upcoming FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022TM for Bangladeshi viewers, while providing viewers with access to a diverse range of entertainment content, including movies, dramas, series, and live television channels.
Upanga Dutta, Chief Commercial Officer, Banglalink said, "Through this collaboration with the renowned Smart TV brands, we aim to enable more viewers to enjoy our entertainment app, Toffee, on the large screen. With the Toffee app pre-installed on their Smart TVs, viewers will be able to enjoy high-quality livestream of the upcoming FIFA World Cup™ football matches at their home."
