CXO Summit 2022 held in Dhaka

Valor of Bangladesh organised CXO Summit 2022 at Radisson Blu Dhaka Water Garden in Dhaka.

Professor Shibli Rubaiyat-ul-Islam, chairman, Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission participated in the day-long discussion titled ‘In Pursuit of Sustainability’ at the CXO summit.

In the discussion meeting, Professor Shibli Rubaiyat-ul Islam talked about the sustainability of the organisations. In this context, he said that a company needs a “good management system” to survive.

He also said, “If a company remains closed, the overall economy of the country is affected. The banking sector is affected when the company closes down. A company has many loans in the bank. Those loans cannot be repaid if the company is wound up. As a result, banks face huge financial losses. He applauded Valor of Bangladesh for such discussions on the sustainability of companies.

Anis Khan, Chairman of Valor of Bangladesh, gave a welcome speech at the conference. He thanked the negotiators for participating in the summit. Among the prominent corporate personalities present was Yasir Azman, Chief Executive Officer, Grameenphone; Masud Khan, Chairman, Unilever Consumer Care; Zaved Akhtar, Managing Director,Unilever Bangladesh; Enamul Haque, Managing Director, Standard Chartered Bank Bangladesh; Khourshed Alam, Director, Akij Group.
