State Minister for Social Welfare Ashraf Ali Khan Khusru visited Daffodil Institute of Social Sciences (DISS) on December 7.
During his visit, he talked with the children spontaneously and asked them about their aims in life. He expressed satisfaction after seeing the quality of the children’s improved classrooms, teachers, guides, lives, education, and food.
He said that this institution will one day show the way as a beacon for the underprivileged and helpless children of Bangladesh. Later he urged the rich people of the society to come forward to bulid more such institutions like DISS.
DISS was established at Daffodil Smart City in Ashulia, Savar, with the goal of building the lives of 4000 underprivileged children with values and dignity.
Dr Md Sabur Khan, chairman of Daffodil International University was also present there.
