Baraka Power holds 15th AGM virtually

The 15th Annual General Meeting (AGM) of Baraka Power Limited was held on digital platform on Thursday (December 15).

The event was moderated by the Company Secretary Md Saiful Islam Chowdhury, said a press release.

In his welcome speech, Baraka Power Limited Chairman Faisal Ahmad Chowdhury mentioned that Baraka Group has been playing a leading role in national development by continuously supplying electricity to the national grid.

The company is investing in new businesses using its business success, reputation and experience, he said, adding that, Baraka Fashions Limited recently started its journey and Baraka Power Limited held 51 per cent shares of it.

He also mentioned that other three power plants of Baraka Group Baraka Power Limited including Baraka Shikalbaha Power Limited and Karnaphuli Power Limited are in full operation.

Baraka Power Limited Managing Director Fahim Ahmed Chowdhury in his closing remarks expressed special gratitude to the directors and shareholders of the company for their sincere cooperation.
