Banglalink Dhaka Rock Fest begins on Tuesday

Banglalink Dhaka Rock Fest 3.0 is set to begin on Tuesday (December 27) where a total of 32 popular Bangla bands will perform in the two-day event.

Sky Tracker Limited organised the event for music lovers, said Brand and Communication Director of Banglalink Digital Communication Limited Qazi Urfi Ahmad and Sky Tracker Limited Director Sazid Islam, in a press conference at Banglalink's head office on Saturday.

Sheikh Monirul Alam Tipu of Warfaze, Shishir Ahmed of Aurthohin, Kazi Faisal Ahmed of Artcell and many other artists also spoke at the press conference.

The festival will be open for visitors from 10 am on Tuesday and Wednesday while audience can buy the tickets from the events ticketing partner, Get Set Rock’s website (https://getsetrock.com/). Tickets for each day will cost Tk500 while the combo price for both days will cost Tk900.

The streaming partner of the event will be popular app Toffee, payment partner bKash, experience partner Suzuki Motorcycle, ticketing partner Get Set Rock, community partner Bangladesh Band Music Forum Community, PR partner MediaQuest Bangladesh and IT partner Codexel.

The performing bands of December 27 are Apekkhik ,Arekta Rock Band, Artcell, Bangla Five, Bangu Bibi, Brahmaputra, Cryptic Fate, Fantasy Realm, Karnival, Nemesis, Owned, Powersurge, Shonar Bangla Circus, Torture Goregrinder, Trainwreck and Unmaad.

Besides, performers of December 28 are Aftermath, Arbovirus, Aurthohin, AvoidRafa, Bay of Bengal, Calypso, Conclusion, Dads in the park, Mechanix, Meghdol, Severe Dementia, Shepherds, Shuvo Jatra, Sin, Subconscious, Warfaze.

About this year's show, Sky Tracker Director Sazid Islam said, “Rock music is incredibly popular among young generation in Bangladesh. As always, we want to entertain the concert-loving young crowd.”

Qazi Urfi Ahmad, brand and communication director of Banglalink Digital Communication Limited said, “Banglalink has been regularly organising and sponsoring various programmes considering the needs of the youths. Dhaka Rock Fest is an expression of our efforts.”
