Together for Bangladesh and Chitrokarkhana on Sunday hosted an event ‘Sharing Happiness’ with the street children at the LEEDO Peace Home.
This year Chitrokarkhana and Together for Bangladesh aimed to bring smiles to three hundred faces, said a press release.
Esrat Karim Eve, founder and Director of Amal Foundation; SM Nazmus Sakib, Executive Director of Together for Bangladesh; and Masuma Moriom, Director of Shwapno Youth Development Foundation, attended the event among others.
Speaking at the programme, SM Nazmus Sakib said, “We are looking forward to hosting more events like this and bringing smiles to the children’s faces.”
Meanwhile, Ahmed Farhan Muqeem, co-founder of Chitrokarkhana, said, “Our target is to reach more people every year with the support of our partners to bring happiness to the street children.”
“Chitrokarkhana has the plan to arrange this kind of event every year and increase the coverage area,” he added.
Prominent cartoonist Morshed Mishu dressed up as Santa Clause at the event.
