Serajul Islam re-appointed CEO of ERA-InfoTech

Md Serajul Islam has been re-appointed as the CEO of ERA-InfoTech Limited, one of the leading software companies in Bangladesh, said a press release.

Serajul Islam started his banking career as a financial analyst at Sonali Bank Limited. Later, he served Bank Asia Limited as the deputy head of the ICT department as well as a business analyst.

He was involved in automation and implementing the largest poverty alleviation project of the government ‘Amar Bari Amar Khamar’.

Islam completed his graduation and post-graduation from the University of Dhaka. He has FCMA and DAIBB professional degrees.

Under Japan government’s scholarship, Islam completed international courses on Business Innovation by Information Technology and Eco Business Innovation from Japan and Advanced Management Executive Programme course from the University of Hong Kong.

Islam was selected as one of the most respected 100 CEOs in Bangladesh by Ajker Arthokantho in 2015. He is also recognised as a ‘Shisu Shahittik’ by the Ministry of Culture and Bangla Academy.
