Sonali Bank brings eSheba, e-Wallet for expatriates

Sonali Bank has introduced new digital banking services for its clients.

Expatriates can now open a bank account with Sonali Bank and do transaction by using Sonali eSheba and Sonali e-Wallet mobile app in their host country, said a press release.

Financial Institution Division Secretary Sheikh Mohammad Salim Ullah inaugurated the new digital services at an event in Dhaka on Sunday.

With the launch of their new services, the bank aims to ensure smart banking services round the clock especially for the working people in different countries across the globe.

From now on Sonali Bank clients can do their transaction and purchase goods and services using QR code from different shops and malls.

Sonali Bank Limited CEO and Managing Director Md Afzal Karim presided over the event while Chairman of Board of Directors Ziaul Hasan Siddiqui and Additional Secretary of Financial Institution Division Md Harun ur Rashid Mollah were present special guests.

Among others, members of board of directors, deputy managing directors, general managers of head office and others high officials of the bank were present on the occasion.
