Yamaha increases motorcycle production capacity in Bangladesh

In view of the growing demand, Yamaha Motor and ACI Motors have doubled their production capacity in Bangladesh through a latest expansion at their factory in Sreepur, Gazipur.

ACI had set up the factory with technical support from Yamaha in 2019, said a press release. On Tuesday, the factory’s expanded portion was inaugurated during an event.

ACI Motors Managing Director FH Ansarey; Subrata Ranjan Das, Executive Director of ACI Motors; Kotaro Ueda, Executive Officer and Chief General Manager of Manufacturing, Yamaha Motor; Shigeru Ishikawa, Senior General Manager of Yamaha Motor; Ravinder Singh, Senior Vice President of Yamaha Motor India Sales, and high officials of Yamaha and ACI Motors were present at the programme.

ACI Motors is the sole distributor and technical collaborated partner of Yamaha motorcycles in Bangladesh. ACI Motors started its journey in 2007 as a subsidiary of the renowned company ACI Limited. Currently it has more than 99 3S (Sales, Service, Spare Parts) dealer points across the country.

The factory in Gazipur is operated under the supervision of Yamaha Motor Corporation Japan, thus the quality of the motorcycle is absolutely guaranteed, said the release.

Yamaha always brings all the latest technology motorcycles to the market for the customers. For this reason, the demand of Yamaha motorcycles in the market of the country is different from any other brand. Currently, Yamaha is the top seller in the 150cc bike category in Bangladesh.
