Sony-Rangs brings BRAVIA Cam

Rangs Electronics Limited, popularly known as Sony-Rangs, has launched BRAVIA Cam in Bangladesh.

Sony Electronics Bangladesh Branch Head Ricky Lucas, along with officials from Sony Electronics Bangladesh and Rangs Electronics launched the cam at a ceremony in Dhaka recently, said a press release.

BRAVIA Cam supports Sony BRAVIA’s latest X80K, X85K, X90K and A80K TV models as an external dedicated device. It allows user to enjoy video chat with the TV as a bigger screen or use Gesture Control to control the TV without using the remote control.

BRAVIA Cam support the auto adjust picture and sound feature by recognising user’s position and provide the best picture and sound quality. It ensures safe distance from the TV and user by providing proximity alert on screen.

If BRAVIA Cam detects that no one is in front of the TV, it activates Auto Power Saving Mode to optimise power consumption by darkening the screen. It can also turn on the screen saver or just turn off the TV automatically.

This new BRAVIA Cam is already available in the countrywide Sony-Rangs showrooms and online store: shop.rangs.com.bd. Special launching offer price is Tk 34,900, while Tk 29,900 will be the special price for purchasing with compatible Sony BRAVIA LED TV.
