Eastland Insurance holds annual business conference

The annual business conference-2023 of Eastland Insurance Company Limited was held at DCCI Auditorium in Motijheel on Sunday.

Mahbubur Rahman, chairman of the company inaugurated the conference where Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Abdul Haque presented an analytical report on the yearly business of the company, said a press release. 

The Chairman said that the company has achieved 95 per cent of the business target set for the year 2022 amid the adverse effects of the Russia-Ukraine war and post Covid-19 pandemic.

He appreciated the management team including all executives and employees of the company for rendering the best efforts for business promotion during this tough time.

Executives and employees will jointly continue their efforts to earn business targets of the company in the upcoming days, he hoped.

The Chairman also stated that the Eastland Insurance Company has passed 36 years of its successful operation and achieved sound financial strength and enviable goodwill.

Distinguished members of the board Kamal Uddin Ahmed, Md Tanvir Khan and Executive Vice Chairman Ghulam Rahman attended the conference and delivered their speeches at the event.
