Neural Semiconductor, UIU sign MoU

A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between United International University (UIU) and Neural Semiconductor Ltd (NSL), a concern of DBL group on the UIU campus on Saturday.

Under the agreement, UIU students can take BSc and MSc thesis co-supervisor from NSL.

Prof Dr Md Abul Kashem Mia, vice-chancellor (in-charge), UIU and MA Jabbar, managing director of DBL group signed the MoU on behalf of their respective organisations.

Among others from UIU, Prof Dr M Rezwan Khan, executive director of IAR, Prof Dr Raqibul Mostafa, dean of School of Science and Engineering, Prof Dr Intekhab Alam, head of the Department of EEE, Prof Dr Salekul Islam, head of the Department of CSE, Dr Md Zulfiqur Rahman, registrar, were present on the occasion along with NSL’s Chief Executive Officer Md Shakhawat Hossain, Head of programme management Md Ismail Hossain.

Both parties agreed to foster research collaboration, strengthen innovative capacities and advance market-driven research and innovation. The agreement also included knowledge sharing, training classes, seminars and workshops, funding of projects, internship opportunities etc.
