Registration for 9th DIMFF begins

The registration for the 9th edition of the Dhaka International Mobile Film Festival (DIMFF-2023) started on January 20.

DIMFF is a unique platform to showcase the creativity of young filmmakers to encourage filmmaking through mobile phones. The film festival will be held on February 4 and 5 in Dhaka, said a press statement.

The opening ceremony of the two-day event will be held at the permanent campus of the University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh (ULAB), followed by a seminar in the evening conducted by filmmaker Mahjabin Reza Chowdhury. The second day’s event will be held at Star Cineplex Shimanto Sambhar.

Interested people will be able to attend the festival by completing the registration at the booth of the ULAB campus or online through http://filmfreeway.com.

DIMFF will be held with the theme of ‘New Generation, New Technology and New Communication’.
