IBA alumni opens clubhouse in Purbachal

IBA Alumni Club Ltd has recently inaugurated its initial clubhouse at the capital’s Purbachal New Town.

The club complex consists of ready facilities for indoor and outdoor recreation, including games, sports, food and beverage services, space for private events, and many more, said a press release.

The Club will provide an excellent forum for social interaction among business graduates in an informal and friendly environment.

Through this Club, IBA graduates of Dhaka University will be able to enjoy their common academic background and share ideas, knowledge, and aspirations with similar mindsets.

At the inauguration ceremony, Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) president and IBA Alumni Club Chairman Nazmul Hassan Papan said, “We are delighted to finally have our place for the IBA Alumni Club. A lot of hard work was required for making this dream come true. Today we inaugurated the initial complex, and in the future, we will construct a permanent facility with world-class club amenities for the families of IBA graduates.”

He also thanked the government for allotting the social infrastructure plot and mentioned the services of the club board, especially Musleh Uz Zaman, Salahuddin Chy, Rizvi Kabir, Nurul Masud and Sheikh Shabab Ahmed for making the complex a reality in a short time and with a limited budget.

The club was founded on October 3, 2016.
