Industries minister distributes Daily Star ICT Awards

Industries Minister Nurul Majid Mahmud Humayun handed over crests to the winners of the 7th “The Daily Star ICT Awards” in a programme at Le Méridien Dhaka on Sunday.

To propagate the development of the ICT industry and recognise the front-runners who can serve as benchmarks for the others, “The Daily Star ICT Awards” was organised for the seventh time, said a press release.

The winners under six categories were ShareTrip Limited, iFarmer, BJIT Group, Digicon Technologies Limited, Moynul Haque Siddiqui, chairman of Fiber@Home and Late Luna Shamsuddoha.

The programme was supported by BRAC Bank and Daffodil International University and enlightened by the Bangladesh Association of Software and Information Services (BASIS).

Nurul Majid Mahmud Humayun was the chief guest at the event where BRAC Bank Managing Director and CEO Selim RF Hussain, Daffodil International University Chairman Md Sabur Khan, BASIS President Russell T. Ahmed, Editor and Publisher of The Daily Star Mahfuz Anam were present.
