DPS STS launches contest to honour freedom fighters

DPS STS School Dhaka has recently launched a nationwide contest titled ‘My Country, My Pride’ for children aged between 5 to 16 years aiming to honour Freedom Fighters.

The competition which is scheduled to conclude on March 7, will provide a platform for young minds to share their perception of independence, freedom, patriotism, and sacrifice, said a press release.

To revive patriotism and a sense of pride in young children, DPS STS School Dhaka has introduced the unique contest. Moreover, children participating in the contest will get the opportunity to win exciting prizes starting from iPad to surprise gifts.

To participate, children have to fill up the form from the website https://tinyurl.com/559fau7u and share their feelings of patriotism in 50-60 words.

Additionally, children have to share a selfie with a background of the National Martyrs’ Memorial (Jatiyo Sriti Soudho), the national flag of Bangladesh, any national monument, or with a face painting representing Bangladesh, along with hashtags #Sacrifice or #Freedom.
