NSU holds seminar on infectious diseases

School of Health and Life Sciences (SHLS) of North South University (NSU) orgainsed a seminar titled ‘Infectious Diseases and Vaccines’ here at its campus recently.

Dr Tajul Islam A Bari, Ex-programme Manager, EPI presented the keynote speech on the occasion.

He demonstrated the history of vaccine starting from the conception development and how its use changed the course of epidemics and pandemics around the world. Dr Tajul specified how the infectious disease affected people and how poorly they suffered due to lack of treatments and vaccines.

Dean of School of Health & Life Sciences (SHLS) of the university Dr Hasan Mahmud Reza chaired the event while a number of SHLS faculty members and senior students of this school were present among others.
