Milestone College achieves 99.97% pass rate in HSC

Milestone College achieved remarkable results in the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) examination under the Dhaka Education Board with 99.97 per cent pass rate.

This year a total of 3222 students of Bangla medium and English version appeared in the HSC examination from Milestone College, among them, 2734 students achieved GPA-5, said a press release.

A total of 2548 students appeared from the Science group, 384 students from the Business Studies group and 290 from the Humanities group.

About the consistency of achieving good results, college Principal Prof Md Shahidul Islam said, “We fixed a goal from the first day of the academic year and worked tirelessly. A quality curriculum was implemented by our experienced academic board to make the dreams of students come true. We always ensure discipline, quality education and regular teaching here.”

Many students from rural places came to study at Milestone College who never got GPA-5 in SSC but eventually achieve GPA-5 in HSC which is one of the beautiful features of Milestone College’s good results, Prof Md Shahidul said.

Milestone students get moral education along with regular studies so that they can develop as good humans and sensible citizens, he said, adding that, this good result is the achievement of sincerity and hard work of teachers, students and parents.

He also congratulated all the teachers, successful students and parents of Milestone College for achieving the expected results in HSC.
