SMC Enterprise holds Annual Sales Conference 2022

SMC Enterprise Limited held its Annual Sales Conference for the FY 2022 at Sheraton Dhaka on Wednesday.

The conference showcased the sales performance while employees of the sales team of 12 area offices were awarded for their significant contribution to achieving the sales targets, said a press release.

General Manager of Sales, CN Mandal presented the 12-month performance of FY 2022. The company’s revenue grew impressively by around 16 per cent in 2022 compared to the previous year, he said, adding that, currently, SMC Enterprises Limited is supplying products to more than 7.16 lakh outlets. Besides, Khandaker Shamim Rahman, general manager of marketing gave a presentation on marketing strategy.

SMC is a major contributor to the national family planning programme and also provides contraceptives to more than one-third of all users in the country. Through consistent quality, creative marketing and extensive distribution, SMC has established a leading position in oral rehydration solutions (ORS), pills, condoms, sanitary napkins, and other product categories. SMC’s ORSaline-N which is available and accessible across the country is saving the lives of millions.

Waliul Islam, chairman of the Board of Directors of SMC and SMC EL was the chief guest at the event where Former Chairman of the Board of Directors of SMC and SMC EL Muhammed Ali and Siddiqur Rahman Choudhury were special guests. Toslim Uddin Khan, managing director and CEO of SMC and Abdul Haque, managing director of SMC Enterprise Ltd were also present at the conference.

Board directors, members and officials of SMC and SMC Enterprise, and representatives from USAID were present at the event followed by a cultural programme.

The programme was anchored by Amal Rajak, Dr Raiatun Tehrin and Rajia Sultana.
