Md Zahirul Islam becomes advisor of IEBA

Prominent businessman and social activist Mohammad Zahirul Islam has joined as a member of the advisory council of the International Ethnosports Bangladesh Association (IEBA).

He is also the managing director of Smart Technologies (BD) Ltd (Sony-Smart), the official distributor of the Japanese brand Sony in Bangladesh, said a press release.

Mohammad Zahirul Islam joined IEBA that represents 42 countries globally, as an advisor after receiving an invitation from IEBA president Dr Md Nazrul Islam Khan (NI Khan), who was also the personal secretary of the Prime Minister, as well as founder and general secretary of IEBA, Md Al Mamun.

This business leader, who is successful in various fields, has expressed his commitment to work with utmost sincerity to spread the traditional games of different countries in the national and international arena by properly fulfilling the new responsibilities assigned to him for the development of the sports sector.
