Textile Today Innovation Hub, a media, communication and networking platform, will hold a strategic-level discussion under the Textile Today Innovation Meets (TexTIMe) in Gazipur on Saturday.
The TexTIMe seminar titled ‘Sustainability in Printing and Its Trends’ will be held in association with Masco Picasso Ltd, said a media release.
TexTIMe is a regular seminar event of Textile Today Innovation Hub that engages industry leaders and strategy makers to find out the pathways to tackle critical challenges and prospects to sustain and grow.
In the seminar, iconic and leading dignitaries of textile printing and technology will discuss sustainable printing trends, sustainable printing technologies and ways to remain sustainable amid rising local and global uncertainties.
ATM Mahbubul Alam Milton, executive director of MASCO Group; Hafizur Rahman Nixon, executive director of RH Corporation and Md Ferdaush Imtiaz, technical head-fabric of Peoticgem Int’l Ltd will be present as guests at the event moderated by Tareq Amin, founder and CEO of Textile Today.
SK Mamun Ferdoush, general manager of Marketing and Merchandising in Masco Group will deliver a presentation on ‘Sustainable Printing Trends- Piece Printing’; Md Ashraful Alam, director (Printing) of Mosharaf Group and Mohammad Shafiqul Islam, head of sales and technical of RH Corporation will deliver their presentations on ‘Sustainable Printing Technologies’ and ‘Sustainable Printing Trends- AOP’, respectively.
The global textile value chain is observing uncertainties in raw material price, energy crisis, production cost, shipment cost, environmental disasters and adverse weather are making the supply industry uncertain, Textile Today Innovation Hub members said.
Bangladesh already has the finest printing factories and technologies installed while the sector has been blamed over sustainability and safety issues, they said, adding that, that is why creating awareness of sustainable printing trends, techniques and technologies is important.
