MTB holds Annual Town Hall 2023 in Dhaka

Mutual Trust Bank (MTB) held its Annual Town Hall 2023 with discussions on strategies and plans to achieve the desired target this year, at a local venue in Dhaka on Friday.

Considering the previous year’s achievements and the current year’s economic scenario and market conditions, the speakers at the event discussed the strategies and plans for how the bank will reach its desired targets said a press statement. “Reinvent to Grow”, the theme for 2023, was unveiled at the conference.

The day-long event was attended by MTB Chairman Md Abdul Malek and Vice Chairman and Founding Chairman Syed Manzur Elahi where bank’s Managing Director and CEO Syed Mahbubur Rahman, Additional Managing Director Chowdhury Akhtar Asif and Deputy Managing Directors, Goutam Prosad Das, Md Khalid Mahmood Khan and Rais Uddin Ahmad were also present.

Divisional and departmental heads, managers of all MTB branches and chief executive officers of two subsidiary companies, MTB Securities Ltd and MTB Capital Ltd were present at the Annual Town Hall.

To recognise the valuable contribution of the MTB officials, Syed Mahbubur Rahman, Managing Director and CEO of MTB has announced different awards under 74 categories. MTB Chairman Md Abdul Malek appreciated the hard work of MTB staff for significant progress in terms of the growing network, infrastructure, products and services in 2022.

MTB Vice Chairman and Founding Chairman Syed Manzur Elahi elaborated on the founding principles of MTB at the assembly and appreciated the dedication shown by the MTB officials to ensure seamless customer service during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Syed Mahbubur Rahman, managing director and CEO thanked all participants for attending the event and presented highlights of the bank’s performance and direction for this year.
