SBAC Bank holds annual business dev conference

South Bangla Agriculture and Commerce (SBAC) Bank Limited recently held its Annual Business Development Conference 2023 at Radisson Blu Hotel in Dhaka.

Abdul Kadir Molla, chairman of the bank, inaugurated the conference as its chief guest on Saturday, according to a press statement.

Habibur Rahman, managing director and CEO of the bank, presided over the conference.

According to the un-audited accounts, total deposit of the bank stood at Tk 8,000 crore at the end of 20222, up from Tk 7,310 crore in 2021, officials revealed at the conference. At the same time, the bank’s loan amount stood at Tk 7,800 crore, up by Tk 1204 crore year-on-year. In addition, SBAC’s imports, exports and remittance collection in the bygone year amounted to Tk 3,402 crore, Tk 4,508 crore and Tk 952 crore respectively in the bygone year.

Among others from the bank, Vice Chairman Mohammad Aiyub; Directors Mizanur Rahman, AZM Shafiuddin Shamim, Md Mokleshur Rahman, Mohammad Nawaz participated at the conference.
